External Tungsten Weights
Discretionary weight savings from the crown and
face structure is allocated in the form of two tungsten weight pads in the back
of the driver near the heel and toe to optimize the CG for lower spin and high
launch.
Thin Crown Design
Finite element analysis (FEA) revealed low stress
areas in the crown which freed mass to be positioned lower in the club head to
increase the moment-of-inertia and optimize the center of gravity (CG) location.
Patented Variable Thickness Face
The Thin, variable thickness face is precision
machined to produce high ball speeds for added distance and forgiveness across
the entire club face.
Taper Crown Design
An aggressively tapered crown allows for a taller
face and helps push the center of gravity (CG) lower and farther back to reduce
spin. The tungsten weight pads are positioned to ensure proper head rotation.
Confidence- inspiring head profile
The taller face and tapered crown design produce
a slightly elongated 460cc head with a high moment-of-inertia (MOI). The double-
Rapture graphic on the crown aids in alignment.
The mass properties of the tungsten and titanium
are optimized in the Rapture V2 Driver to create a high launching, lower
spinning driver that delivers the performance expected from a multi- metal
design. The visible, dense tungsten weight pads in the back of the lightweight
titanium head expand the perimeter weighting and position of the
center-of-gravity low and away from the face.
