PING’s first forged design,

Ping Anser carries the same name as earlier models Karsten Solheim produced before he transitioned a popular investment casting process. This is a new version that pushes the forging process to create performance benefits not previously associated with a forged club.

This forged, multi-metal design, combines an 8620 steel body, and a dense tungsten sole and machined grooves for unequalled forged-iron feel and forgiveness. It's hollow-sole cavity softens feel and positions the CG for high-launching shots. This progressive set design offers long-iron forgiveness and short-iron control.
